Our Program properly balances all biologics with nutraceutical and hormone supplementation so that the patient’s body can most effectively address their underlying health conditions, in conjunction with effective and nutritional diet modifications and time-effective exercise regimens. With that said, supplementation is used to address deficiencies discovered in clinical blood work and medical history. Therefore, recommended nutraceutical supplementation varies from patient to patient and will be prescribed based on the results of your Elite Health Evaluation. Your physician will consider factors such as your current overall health, nutrition, and exercise habits.Your physician will never prescribe a supplementation unless clinically indicated by your lab work.If you are recommended for supplements, you will receive efficaciously-dosed, pharmaceutically-tested, clinical nutraceuticals. Cenegenics believes that the quality of what goes into the body directly influences the quality of health outcomes, which is why our nutraceuticals are made without any harmful additives and consist only of the highest-quality ingredients.
While the initial complimentary phone consultation may take just 5 to 10 minutes, it’s possible for this introduction to take much longer. This exchange lays the foundation for a successful, long-term partnership between you and your physician, so use this opportunity to ask any questions about your health, the Cenegenics program, and overarching wellness goals. Your physician will also use this exchange to briefly introduce themselves, explain the general scope of the Cenegenics program, and give you an overview of basic treatment objectives. Additionally, the consultation allows patients to discuss known health issues with their physician in-depth, as well as any limitations they may have due to injuries or disabilities. Thus, the length of the initial consultation is largely dependent on any questions and concerns you would like addressed.
Cenegenics welcomes patients who are already on alternate hormone therapy programs. With that said, if our clinical team detects findings in your bloodwork that suggest hormone levels are not optimal, your physician may request that you receive hormone therapy within our program. Unlike many other low-T clinics, the Cenegenics program encompasses not only a sex hormone panel, but also an in-depth review of how hormones are directly affecting key health measures, including carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, bio-inflammatory markers, and kidney and liver function. Our physicians actively monitor each patient to ensure adjustments are made when necessary. This is a critical feature of safe and effective hormone therapy, but one that the majority of low-T clinics do not offer.Moreover, if hormone levels are clinically low, it’s important to address not only the hormones themselves but also the root cause of the issue, if needed. For example, there are many potential causes for low testosterone: hypogonadism, andropause, stress, congenital defect, testicular trauma, radiation treatment, chemotherapy, excess consumption of alcohol, obesity, and certain pharmaceuticals. Cenegenics physicians approach this issue with personalized testing to confirm the diagnoses and proactively minimize any potential risk factors of testosterone replacement therapy.
While Cenegenics is a wellness optimization program which caters to the needs of mature adults, we welcome patients of all ages. There is no age limit, and we’ve had patients ranging from their mid-to-late 20s all the way into their late 80s. For some people, biological signs of aging begin in the mid-20s, and you’re never too young (nor too old) to prioritize wellness and become the healthiest version of yourself. Typically, our exercise and nutrition specialists recommend high-intensity interval training (HIIT), as these short bursts of exercise require substantially less time than traditional workouts. Nonetheless, HIIT shows significant cardiovascular benefits. It can be performed in as few as 3-4 sessions per week, for even just 15 minutes at a time, while delivering the same benefits as a traditional workout lasting twice as long.
When clinically indicated and appropriately monitored, hormone replacement therapy has been demonstrated to be a safe, effective treatment. Your Cenegenics physician will monitor your progress and changes via regular blood draws, making any adjustments as necessary. Consistent monitoring helps to mitigate any risk associated with hormone replacement therapy. Cenegenics prefers to complete your blood work in house, as our comprehensive lab panel measures far more than a typical blood draw from your primary care physician. This extensive lab panel measures 868 health biomarkers, including complete blood count, hormone levels, cardiac disease risks, lipid panels, and homocysteine levels, among others. It can also uncover potential prostate issues in men. This comprehensive panel is necessary for detecting critical indicators in your body before they manifest as chronic illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, or other potentially life-threatening conditions. For your convenience, our phlebotomists travel to your home or office – whichever location works best for your schedule.
